I needed to clarify for myself:
ben·e·fit (bn-ft)
n.
1.
a. Something that promotes or enhances well-being; an advantage
en-ti-tled
adj.
1.
qualified for by right according to law
As in ... Employer paid medical insurance is a "benefit" of being employed with a certain company.
As opposed to ... I am "entitled" to government paid medical coverage.
I just happen to think that the government should focus on National Security and driveable roads (funded of course by my tax dollars).
I can pay my doctor or my health insurance company myself. Thank you very much. I think that falls under the "entitlement" of "liberty".
